  • EPBB is paid to Contractor on behalf of homeowner in two payments
  • PBI is paid quarterly (3 months) over six years upon validation of system generation

 

EPBB Sample Calculation - Step 11

EPBB <= 10,000 Watt > 10,000 to 20,000 Watt
$0.487/Watt $.40/Watt

 

EPBB Incentive Calculation:

EPBB = (System Size based on utility electricity usage <=5,000 Watt * $0.487) + (System Size based on utility electricity usage >5,000 Watt to 10,000 Watt * $.40)
EPBB = (5,000 * $0.487) + (2,000 * $0.40)
EPBB = $2,435 + $800

EPBB = $3,235

  • EPBB is paid to Contractor on behalf of homeower
  • This example assumes a PV system slightly oversized based on the home’s annual electric consumption
  • This example assumes a calculated Design Factor (efficiency rating) greater than 75%

 

PBI Sample Calculation - Step 11

PBI Incentive Calculation:

PBI = 1st year system generation (8,809 * $.039) = $346.71
PBI = Estimated 6-year total (0.5% degredationdegradation rate per year) = $2,054.44
